Shirley Chavin and I have known each other for over 30 years. She is a wonderful jazz singer and the president of the Hot Springs Jazz Society.

She invited me to her home, where we spent the night and went boat riding from her boat dock that sits on the lake and treated us so well. I just love Shirley, she is so real. You wouldn’t believe her age and I won’t tell you but she has the energy of a 20 year old and razor sharp. I pay attention when I am in her company.
